Spanish IV

Category: World Languages

Fourth-year Spanish expands on the foundation of Spanish grammar and vocabulary that students acquired in the first three courses. As with all the earlier offerings, this culminating-level Spanish language course conforms to the standards of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). Students continue to sharpen their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills while also learning to express themselves on topics relevant to Spanish culture.

The two-semester course is divided into ten units whose themes include people, achievements, wishes and desires, activities, celebrations, possibilities, the past, the arts, current events, and wrap up and review.
