Graduation is one of the most important accomplishments in a teenager’s life, and this past week The Bridge School was able to celebrate this important time with our graduating seniors. Now you are probably wondering how exactly an online high school conducts an online graduation, right? Well the answer to that question is simple…just like everyone else!
This year while we have hundreds of students enrolled at The Bridge School, we were fortunate enough to 6 graduates! The Class of 2012 consisted of:
- Rachel Vederman – Valedictorian
- Jasmine Grasessle – Salutatorian
- Jeffery Hall
- Stephanie Mazyrack
- Karina Montesinos
- Austin Potts
The ceremony was filled with family, friends and of course a couple of amazing speeches given by both Rachel Vederman (Valedictorian), who will be attending the University of Texas in the fall, and Jasmine Grasessle (Salutatorian). The crowd was enthusiastic with many family members expressing sincere gratitude that such a program existed and could help their graduate.
Among the attendees were the leadership team of The Bridge School with each member contributing to the ceremony in the following ways: Susan McKinney recognized the staff, Charles Fattore welcomed the guest, Sherry Dieckmann was the Mistress of Ceremony and Presentation of Diplomas and Sharon Scott gave the charge to the senior class. With well over 50 people in attendance for the ceremony a good time was had by all!
We are very proud of our graduating class of 2012, and are looking forward to next years graduates already. If you would like to see your child get ahead we offer summer school, AP and Dual Credit, part-time and full-time classes. Contact us today about your child’s future!
