The Bridge School, a SACS accredited online private school for grades 6-12, was founded in 2007. Based in Texas, we offer full-time and part-time courses to middle and high school students worldwide.

The school was recently approved for the prestigious CollegeBoard AP course ledger, which means we are able to continue providing 17 of the most popular advanced placement courses, including:

  • AP Art History
  • AP Biology
  • AP Calculus AB
  • AP Computer Science A
  • AP English Language and Composition
  • AP English Literature and Composition
  • AP Environmental Science
  • AP European History
  • AP French Language and Culture
  • AP Macroeconomics
  • AP Microeconomics
  • AP Physics B
  • AP Psychology
  • AP Statistics
  • AP U.S. Government and Politics
  • AP United States History
  • AP World History

“Many students take AP courses to help improve their GPA, and as a way to stand out during the college admissions process. This type of course work shows colleges and universities that they have challenged themselves during high school,” says Dr. Statha Cherry, Director of Student Services.

“Taking AP courses in high school also gives you an opportunity to earn college credits by achieving the required score on the related AP Exam.  As part of our AP courses, The Bridge School offers an online review to help prepare our students for the AP Exam,” says Dr. Cherry.

“Students taking AP courses can also help you bypass or place out of some required courses and move directly to upper-level classes where you can focus on work that interests them the most.”
