The Parents Guide To Online Education
Your middle school or high school student isn’t limited to the school their zoned to. Classrooms of 30 plus kids forced to learn at the same pace, using the same methods year after year are the reason online education is increasing in popularity.
By combining passionate online facilitators with a flexible learning environment, The Bridge School provides the personalized educational experience every child deserves. The following are the most common questions parents ask before enrolling their child.
How Does Online Education Work?
All your middle school or high school student needs is a computer and internet access. Each student is given a login to their courseware and is assigned to a certified/highly qualified online teacher to assist them throughout the course.
Students can start a course any day of the year and take up to 6 months to complete without ever having to step foot in a brick and mortar school. Summer school courses are available, too!
What Courses Do You Offer?
The Bridge School offers over 200 core curriculum, elective and AP courses. We specialize in credit recovery and helping students with unique situations graduate on schedule. The Bridge School also offers GED preparation courses.
How Are Courses Structured?
Our courses include interactive videos and course content to keep your middle school or high school student engaged. Students can replay lessons or ask their instructor any questions they may have before demonstrating their learning with quizzes and exams.
Unlike a traditional school, students can work at a pace they’re comfortable with and from anywhere in the world.
Are Credits Recognized And Transferable?
Yes, The Bridge School is approved through SACS CASI as well as being a Texas Education Agency approved private school. We can usually process a transcript within 24 hours.
